Artist Statement

Welcome to my vast collection of intimate and monumental steel sculpture, elegant organic forms, and wind-activated kinetics. With an obsession for landscape and architecture, I have made my life's work a study of design and sculpture, and elevating the relationship between them. I'm fascinated with steel in motion and its ability to become almost as graceful as nature. My process navigates from unique hand drawings to CAD design, fabrication, welding, and precision machining of virgin steel. After grinding and sand blasting, the sculpture is ready for natural rust, colors in flat painted enamels, or jewel-like coatings. A beautiful base combining rock, timber, or poured concrete shapes completes its installation.
