Artist Statement

Partners in life and work for more than thirty years and working from our studio in Oregon's Tualatin mountains, we handcraft ceramic tiles that we think of as functional art for everyday living. From carved earthenware to incised black engobe to slip-trailed blue and white tiles, we offer a variety of styles suitable for the most intimate to the most public spaces. Images vary in mood and theme, and include shore and water life, animals, plants, and people in the places and activities they love. Jensen and Marineau installations create spaces so beautiful that they become central to the life of a home. We are happy to work with clients and designers to create a custom design.
