Advertising in The Guild has allowed me to reach art consultants and designers around the country who would otherwise be unaware of my work. Though my medium of woven wire and metal has not changed over the years, the scale of my work has certainly increased. My first experience with large-scale work came when Jennifer Wood-Patrick of Art Advisory/Boston—who discovered me through Guild Sourcebooks—commissioned me to create my first large piece: 5' wide by 25' long! This experience greatly expanded my knowledge of creating and installing really large pieces. The Guild is my only source of advertising, and the clients who find me through these sourcebooks keep my solo studio busy with a variety of interesting projects.
