Working with The Guild has exposed my work to many and varied art consultants throughout the U.S. Because of this exposure, I now get enough work to actually make a living carving stone murals. The books allow clients to find me instead of me having to find them! My career has changed in ways I never thought possible, and this could not have happened without my advertisements in the Guild Sourcebooks. My work now consists of very large-scale bas-relief carvings for lobbies in corporate settings—quite a change from the tabletop or pedestal pieces I was doing before advertising with The Guild. One of my favorite projects resulting from The Guild was for Vanderbilt University Research Center in Nashville, TN. That project allowed my work to take on a more abstract quality and design - something that was very different and fun for me to carve.
