Cover: Softcover, gloss lamination, with front and back flaps
Text: 8 ½” x 11”, 140gsm (95#) Goldeast gloss (or similar), 4/4
Binding: Smyth-sewn binding - folded signatures are sewn together with thread. Gauze is then glued to the spine and the first and last sheets are glued to the cover. Each signature is sewn individually for the highest quality and longevity.
Reprints (Tears): 1,000 copies of ad pages are available. 140gsm (95#) Goldeast gloss (or similar), 4/0, no folios.
Ad Placement: Within each section of The Guild Sourcebook of Art, all full-page ads are alphabetically displayed first, followed by an alphabetical display of half-page ads. Ads are alphabetized by last name or company name. Artist statements appear in the backmatter, not on ad pages.

Editorial Images:		 The Editor selects cover, divider pages, and editorial images.

Design and Production
The Guild designs and produces your ad for you. After you reserve space we provide simple, complete instructions on how to prepare your copy and photographs. To see how your ad might be laid out just go to Sample pages.

Acceptable Images
In every Guild Sourcebook, work that is professionally photographed really stands out, and is occasionally featured (free of charge) in other places in the book and in promotional materials, which means more exposure for you! Types of images that we accept include:

  • 35 mm Slides
  • 4" x 5" transparencies
  • 2.25"x 2.25" transparencies
  • High-resolution digital images accompanied by four-color proofs (minimum of 350 dpi at reproduction size). The total area allotted for images on a full-page ad is 8.5"H x 7"W.
