The Guild Sourcebook of Art is like a beautiful, color-rich phone directory, divided into sections by medium and discipline. Artists reserve full-or half-page ads, which we layout and design using images provided by the artist along with all of their direct contact information.
The qualified design professionals who receive Guild Sourcebooks see, specify, buy, and recommend the featured artwork; and often commission or collaborate with the participating artists.
When artists continue to advertise in Guild Sourcebooks and on www.guildsourcebooks.com, art buyers become more familiar with their name and work and are persuaded to contact them directly!
I want The Guild to help me generate leads. What do I do now?
Call a Guild consultant at (800) 930-1856 to declare your interest, or fill out our request form
Complete and sign an Artist Agreement to reserve your advertising space. Submit the agreement by fax to (608) 257-2690 or by mail along with a deposit or payment in full.
Watch for and complete the Production Packet. It will guide you in submitting copy and professional images of your work.
What happens after I submit images of my artwork?
An internal and external panel of art, design and marketing professionals will jury your artwork. If accepted, * the Guild Sourcebook production team will expertly design and lay out your ad. You will be sent a proof of your display page via email to approve. While The Guild completes the process of editing, designing, and producing the books, you may search and apply for Commission Opportunities. Next, your work will be added to our website and the printed sourcebooks will be shipped to thousands of qualified art and design professionals throughout the U.S. and Canada. All that is left is to reap the rewards of your advertising. Start fielding inquiries and negotiating the resulting sales and commissions!
*If rejected by the review panel, The Guild will refund 100% of any payment made.
