About Guild Sourcebooks

Simply put, Guild Sourcebooks build bridges between artists and art buyers.

In 1985 Toni Sikes founded The Guild, a publishing company with the mission of helping artists market and sell their work. Annual Guild Sourcebooks feature photographs of artists' works along with their direct contact information and are distributed to registered designers, architects and other trade professionals throughout the United States and Canada. Over the years Guild Sourcebooks have resulted in thousands of new art commissions for public and private spaces and are recognized by design professionals as "the industry standard" (Source: Art Calendar).

Our Marketing Philosophy
Artists need more than talent to become successful. They need to be part of a process that gets their work seen and considered by potential buyers. The Guild understands that this is much easier said than done. Getting artwork seen by a large audience poses logistical and financial challenges. Whether it's transporting the artwork or finding and reaching buyers, artists face an uphill climb. This is where we step in to make that climb much easier. The Guild:

  • Gets artwork seen by thousands of potential buyers
  • Reaches out to a prime, qualified audience
  • Makes artists accessible
  • Perhaps most importantly, The Guild does all of this for a fraction of the cost of other marketing efforts. While we alone cannot make artists successful, we can help get them in position to flourish. Contact us for more information and current rates!
