The large circular face is made of brushed stainless steel with a cross-shaped cutout. A circle of hand-colored copper seems to float behind the steel. Bold black and silver arrows form the hands and the pendulum is brushed stainless steel with hand-colored copper. Signed on back. Uses 2 AA batteries (included). All metal coloring is done by hand and will vary from piece to piece.

"Time flies when you are having fun!"

Leonie Lacouette started designing clocks more than two decades ago. It all began when she needed a clock for her studio. On a lark, she created a clock for herself and four more for a show. They sold immediately and she has been making clocks ever since.

Using a basic language of geometric shapes, Lacouette creates layered constructions that are both functional time pieces and entertaining kinetic sculptures. Some materials, such as stainless steel and brass, are used in their raw state. Others, like copper and wood, Lacouette patinas and paints for a warmer feel.
