This wall clock has a black-on-black painted rectangular wooden background with an oval face and round pendulum of hand-colored copper. The pendulum swings behind an oval cutout. Signed on back. Uses 1 AA battery (included). All metal coloring is done by hand and will vary from piece to piece.

"Time flies when you are having fun!"

Leonie Lacouette started designing clocks more than two decades ago. It all began when she needed a clock for her studio. On a lark, she created a clock for herself and four more for a show. They sold immediately and she has been making clocks ever since.

Using a basic language of geometric shapes, Lacouette creates layered constructions that are both functional time pieces and entertaining kinetic sculptures. Some materials, such as stainless steel and brass, are used in their raw state. Others, like copper and wood, Lacouette patinas and paints for a warmer feel.

Stunning
WE have had this clock for 6 moths now and absolutly love it. It took me awhile to find it searching the different sites. It is very uniqe, and a beautiful addition to our family room. You have to make sure its straight otherwise Pendulum stops. [...]

Stunning accent addition to my kitchen!
The artwork is beautiful, creative and eye catching. My only negative comment is that the clock seems to lose time. I have only had it a few weeks, so am still assessing. I have changed batteries and adjusted the time (from the rear time wheel as directed) but still seem to be losing somewhere between 3-5 minutes per week. May have to have the clock movement piece replaced.
