Sally Jaffee has been a potter for thirty five years and considers pottery making her sacred art. Her work reflects an appreciation for simplicity and the blending of function with beauty.

Sally's pieces are individually wheel thrown or slab built with white stoneware. The decorative imagery has been hand etched through layers of slip, then fired to a mid range temperature. They are food safe and highly durable.

Sally learned pottery making in Seattle, where she was a member of Pottery Northwest. There she worked with other professional potters and attended workshops. She then devoted her life to the spiritual process that the clay provided her.
